New Reflexology research in France with fMRI

The Toulouse University Hospital and the ToNIC brain research unit are launching a study to identify what happens in the brain during a plantar reflexology session. Volunteers are being recruited.

I also wish to bring to your attention something that has to do with bias in research.
In the past I had the great opportunity to do training in Athens with Lorimer Mosely, during a break on the second day I brought to him a copy of a similar research as the above which you can read and download here http://www.reflexologiainfantil.org/.../relacions...
What is interesting is the immediate answer Lorimer gave me which was actually more of a question which you can read on the picture. It seems that many things play a role in a research and maybe the researchers in Toulouse should take this into consideration?

For us as I have said in Orthopedic Reflexology training it is of benefit for the client to have a reflexology map handy during the treatment or to take with them home. It will possibly have an effect a positive one for our treatments. Be alert! …not just any map, but the more aesthetically safe, attractive and beautiful the better.
Take care everyone!

Catherine Zeta-Jones Big big big fan of Reflexology

“Oh, yes. I’m missing my massages to the point where I would sell my arm for one. I’m a big massage person, and I’m a big, big, big reflexology person. Reflexology is more beneficial than a full-body massage for me. I also like to peel my face. I try not to do any at-home extractions, but I love to get facials. I’m such a girl! I could spend all vacation in a spa, going from a body treatment to a face treatment to whatever else they have on the menu. I really could. I just love it. It makes me feel good.
