The foundation module of the International Institute of Reflexology (IIR) training programme. This course teaches the Original Ingham Method® as formulated by the late Eunice Ingham and then further developed together with her nephew Dwight.C. Byers. The IIR is the only school licensed to teach the OIM® by law, and is personally endorsed by Dwight Byers. Students will learn the correct applications of working with the techniques conceived by Eunice Ingham. These techniques form the foundation of the therapy providing the practitioner with the valuable tools they need to be successful reflexologists. This intensive first module leads towards further training to qualify for the International Institute of Reflexology certificate diploma.
Hagar Basis has been teaching reflexology for over 20 years. She has been fortunate enough to have been taught by and work alongside leading reflexologists such as Dwight Byers and Anthony Porter.
Hagar is the Principal Tutor for ART™ (Advanced Reflexology Training), presenting this training programme to reflexologists since its conception back in 1989. In addition to ART™, Hagar is the Course Director for the International Institute of Reflexology® in London, teaching the Original Ingham Method® diploma courses since 1997. In addition to her reflexology and massage practice, Hagar regularly travels abroad and across the UK to deliver both IIR and ART™ training.
