Cancer Clinic for the Poor (Cancer Clinic) is a recently formed Michigan nonprofit charitable corporation serving Macomb and Oakland counties.
Its mission is to provide free natural therapeutic and medicinal care to all, especially those who have cancer. It supports the natural and scientific medical treatments patients may already be receiving.
Formed in 2010 by its current program director, Dr. Charles Hartwig, who lost his father to cancer, the Cancer Clinic offers therapeutic and medical massage, naturopathic care, chiropractic care, counseling, reflexology, acupressure, salon treatments and more. These treatments are performed by house call and office visit, with experts in the Detroit metropolitan area available to provide this care at no cost to the client.
